Horses for the Ranch or the Arena

The Moore Ranch has a history steeped in breeding and raising good horses.  Landon D. Moore, the first Moore on this ranch, raised good using horses.  His son Landon K. Moore, got his start in raising horses witht he United States Government Remount breeding program.  Alice Moore took over the ranching operations along side her mother, Mary, upon the death of her father in 1954.  Alice and her mother Mary took great pride in raising good minded, athletic, well rounded horses, and they earned several AQHA awards over the years, including an AQHA Legacy Award in 1996 and AQHA/National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Best Remuda Award in ______
